My father Macon D. Brown started the business in
1948.
After his passing we incorporated in 1973 under the
name Brown & Kennedy Construction Co. Inc. with
Herman B. Kennedy, my mother Kathleen Brown, my
brother Donald Ray Brown and myself as
officers. 2001 we started doing business under the
name Doug Brown Construction Co. & Real Estate after
I became the sole owner of the company. My son,
Jarrett Brown started working in the business in
2002.
